When it comes to the art world there are many different views on what constitutes good art. From literally a pile of trash on the floor or a cow cut in half to classics such as the Mona Lisa. The diversity that can be seen in the art world is enormous.

But the majority of critics can appreciate the beauty of a tastefully painted nude. The form of the human body has for a long time been the subject of works of art from early nude statues of men throught to the various nudes depicted in well known paintings. Looking at more recent artists work of nude women oil paintings and you will find that some of the works of art use shadows and dark backgrounds to highlight the line of a womans leg or her out stretched arm.

So if you are an art lover take some time to look at the various paintings available and if you appreciate a particular work look into purchasing it to hang on your own wall. Do not be fobbed off with prints that many stores sell for exorbitant prices, always go for original female portraits or a genuine hand painted nude oil painting. They may cost a little more but they will be appreciated for a lifetime!
