LG Prada Mobile very stylish

April 18th, 2007

LG Prada black mobile phone

The LG Prada is not surprisingly the most stylish mobile phone currently available as well as being one of the most technologically advanced phones on the market. The touch screen craze has manifested itself into a new look for the mobile phone industry and is reincarnated in this Prada phone by LG.

The phone is rather small and is much like what many expect the Apple iPhone to be like, high praise indeed! To navigate commands and other applications you simply touch the screen, again very Apple-ish. No physical buttons are required making this a very easy mobile phone to use.

Amongst the features available on the LG Prada, you can connect to the internet and store video or picture media. The 2 mega-pixel camera is a great above-average digital camera, certainly enough to get the job done. The handset features an FM radio, an increasingly popular feature on phones these days. You can play the latest games and Read the rest of this entry »

LG stainless steel Shine Phone

April 18th, 2007

LG Shine stainless steel mobile

The latest LG phone, the LG Shine is a great follow-up to the popular LG Chocolate. It’s an ultra sleek phone that doesn’t use the newest technologies but still packs a punch for the average user.

On first impression, you notice the stainless steel design. It is lightweight and durable, not to mention (not at all surprisingly) shiny and complemented with a brushed metal surface. LG have really found a winning design with this handset.

There are a number of improvements from the LG Chocolate. First, the camera phone in the LG Shine is a full 2 mega-pixels worth of imaging and secondly there is an expandable memory slot included, which lets you increase your memory to a total of 2 Gigabytes worth of data.

The Shine comes loaded with Read the rest of this entry »

Shareholders Are Funny Animals

April 14th, 2007

I’ve always found Google shareholders to be funny animals and yesterday provided yet another example of the curiosity that is their buying/selling patterns. The big story being covered right now is the purchase of display advertising giant DoubleClick by Google for 3.1 billion (that’s right … billion) dollars. This is the largest purchase by Google to date in terms of sale price.

And I Still Have Yet To Attend A Session

April 12th, 2007

Today was an exciting day at SES NY 2007. I haven’t had the time to attend a session yet (that’s right, 3 days in and still no sessions). On the plus side, I’ve had the opportunity to interview many of the people who’s sessions I’d have most wanted to attend and ask them my own questions. :)

The Rest Of Yesterday:
After yesterday’s blog post I had the pleasure of chatting with presellpageman

SES NY 2007 – Day Two

April 11th, 2007

Well it appears that I’m just not going to be going to any sessions, and that’s a good thing. :) Today has been spent networking and interviewing some excellent guests. Let’s cover the interviews first:

Rand Fishkin From SEOMoz.com:
Anyone involved in SEO either does or should know the name Rand Fishkin. Whether it’s as one of the most notable SEO’s in the industry or as the man who ruined it

3 Interviews Later …

April 10th, 2007

Well here we are, 3 interviews later. Haven’t had a chance to go to a session yet but I did have the opportunity to interview Mike Moran from IBM, Michael and Mikhail from ClickFacts.com and Stephanie Krebs from DominionEnterprises.com. Here’s what we talked about.

With Mike From IBM:
Mike and I discussed the launch of a free search engine Omnifind Yahoo! Edition. While I haven’t had a chance

I (L) NY

April 10th, 2007

Well in my home town of Victoria, BC a *rush* job for business cards would be next day at best. Not in New York. The fine folks at FedEx Kinkos (we don’t have one in Victoria) had me processed within 15 minutes including proofing the first set and will have 200 cards done and ready to be picked up at noon, about an hour after I dropped them off.

Now, to those of you from New York this may seem

LIVE FROM NEW YORK

April 10th, 2007

Well it’s 9:38am on the first day of the conference. So far so good, got my Webmaster Radio Press pass, have toured the floor(s) checking out where everything is so I don’t find myself scrambling later and will be attending sessions shortly.

The only thing I seem to have forgotten is my business cards. Hmmmmmmm. Well they’re just a *little bit* important at a NETWORKING FUNCTION!!!

Sorry for the lack of postings …

April 6th, 2007

Just wanted to put up a quick post to apologize to all our regular visitors that there haven’t been any posts this week. Things have been pretty hectic with SES NY coming up and I haven’t had much time for posting.

That said, we’ll be more than making up for it next week when we’re …
